What to Pack

for an epic tropical voyaging experience

Keep it simple:

Pack for a day on the water, plus your pajamas

We will likely have a small list of items for you to bring for the boat (delivered to your address for you to pack in your luggage)

  • Swimsuits and Boardies- ladies, don’t be shy to bring more than you think you need- they don’t take up much room in your luggage and its mostly all you will wear.

  • Pareo/Sarong- doubles as a towel and a dress or skirt.

  • Actual clothing- bring less than you think you need.

  • 2x Quick-dry towels- one for outdoor rinsing and one for indoor showering.

  • Carabiners- many uses ;)

  • Sun Protection- we use Avasol face sticks and hide our bodies underneath UV shirts during the peak heat of the day. This type of sun protection combo serves multiple functions: REEF FRIENDLY sun protection, and by avoiding slathering suncreen over your whole body, we will save lots of water onboard during showering.

  • Sunnies and Hats- polarized sunglasses and well-fitted hats. If you have extra trucker hats, consider bringing them to give as gifts to local kids.

  • Headlamp- usb rechargeable > batteries

  • Reef Shoes/Slippahs- protect your toes

  • Drybag- a day pack for adventures to keep your personal belongings dry.

  • Reusable vessels for Water & Coffee- absolutely NO single-use plastic bottles allowed onboard. If you’re a coffee drinker, byo CLOSABLE cup to help avoid spills.

  • Bedding- if you plan to stay onboard for more than 1-2 weeks, consider bringing a fitted and flat sheet and pillowcases. We have 1 set of bedding for each cabin, and laundry is all hand-wash and hang-dry.

  • Camera/GoPro- please feel free to bring a camera to capture the magical moments we share, BUT PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL and DO NOT TAKE SURF PHOTOS unless you have express permission from the local surfers.

  • Chargers- label your charging cords and plugs with your initials

  • Ocean Toys-

    • don’t forget your snorkel mask, fins, dive weights, and wetsuit

    • spearguns must have a tip protector (wine cork is fine)

    • surfboards must be taken home with you or donated to a local kid before you leave.

    • NO OLD/DETERIORATING BOARD BAGS!

  • Foreign Currency- plan to exchange your currency BEFORE arriving onboard
